Late 19th century French chest of drawers in red fruitwood with a gray granite top and original brass escutcheons (ornamental plates surrounding keyholes). Rectangular brass handles are flanked on either side by fluted column corners capped with turned bun feet, and the original finish is indicated by the slightly worn surfaces of the wood and dovetailed joints in each of the three drawers.
