Louis XV Style French Provincial Carved Buffet. Constructed of cherry wood, late 18th century. Two frieze drawer with dovetailed joints above double paneled cupboards. Hand-carved rosette and fan motifs between the drawers and along the bottom apron highlight the craftsmanship of the piece. Iron fiche hinges and decorative elongated escutcheons provide dramatic visual impact. Beautiful patina and lightly distressed from age.
